Sunaadalahari MasterClass is a curated online learning experience for students of Carnatic music, bringing together legendary maestros and leading performing musicians. Spanning from Jun to August 2026, the sessions cover both in-depth modules and expert workshops across a range of Carnatic musical forms. 2. Who are the faculty for this MasterClass? The sessions are conducted by: Module 1: Vid. Suguna Varadachari Module 2: Vid. RK Shriramkumar Module 3: Expert session by Maestros Module 4: Manodharma: Practioner's perspective. 3. What is the format and schedule of the sessions? The MasterClass 2026 is divided into four modules, each running between Jun, Jul and August: Sessions are scheduled to avoid overlap: Students who wish to enroll in all four modules can comfortably attend both morning and evening sessions each Sunday, without any time conflict. 4. Who can join the MasterClass? Students of Carnatic music across all age groups and geographies are welcome. Basic requirement is the ability to sing varnams in two speeds. Applicants are categorized as Intermediate or Advanced in the application form. 5. Can I choose individual sessions or do I have to enroll for the full series? Yes, you can choose to enroll for individual Modules of your choice. Full Package (includes all modules – recommended for deeper engagement) * For Dec Season Performance Opportunity, min 3 modules enrollment is required. 6. What is the application fee? A non-refundable application fee of INR 1000 / USD 50 is applicable. - It ensures serious participation and values the time of both student and faculty. 7. How are the fees utilized? This MasterClass is a not-for-profit initiative. Your contribution: - Supports Guru Dakshina to the artists - Enables organization of concerts and workshops - Helps support the musical ecosystem and upcoming talent We don’t call it a donation — you’re receiving world-class training, and your contribution is your way of giving back to the art. 8. Is financial assistance or scholarship available? Yes. We offer need-based and merit-based scholarships, up to 100%, to deserving students: - Open to students in India and NRIs. - Categories include financial need and musical merit. - We operate on trust. No formal background verification is done. 10. Will there be follow-up sessions or materials? Yes. Students enrolling in full or specific modules will receive: - Access to recorded sessions - Follow-up Q&A sessions for doubt clarification - Peer group discussions 11. Will students get a chance to perform? Yes. Students who enroll in the minimum 3 MasterClass modules will be offered individual concert opportunities or group performance during the Sunaadalahari Dec/Margazhi Festival, based on: -Interest & Commitment -Performance readiness either as Individual or Group presentation -Minimum 75% attendance is required. 12.
